Summer Vacay - Day 11: Boogie Boards

The weather has been wonderfully hot ever since summer vacation started and the house has been progressively getting hotter without having the chance to cool off at night. We do have ceiling fans that help a lot and I'd much rather have summer weather then not have it so I'm pretty pumped. The kids haven't complained about either and seem to be just fine playing outside, most likely finally enjoying the Philippine heat they missed all winter long! Today at Walmart I bought each kid a boogie board to play on in the water and to test them out we went up to Park Lake. Amazing. They had such a great time playing in the sand and the warm water. I mean it's no Philippine white sand beach or clear waters but for 10 minutes out of Lethbridge, its perfect. We took our cooler full of treats and cold water, relaxed in the heat, and played in the water. They loved the boogie boards and even our hardest to please, Madison, started to get comfortable as she figured out the balancing part and had me pulling her around like she's the boss (believe it or not she does not run the show!).
