Summer Vacay - Day 22: Bridges

We left for camping Friday when Ryan got home from work. The kids were pretty pumped to sleep in a trailer and have our first camping trip of the summer! We wanted to go out and have some fun as a family but we also wanted to get a start to preparing for the Beattie Reunion the following weekend. We had a mental list of tasks to accomplish before the weekend was over. Our camping spot was perfect! We were in the trees right off the river which had a nice rock beach on the other side. We Ryan needed to make some sort of bridge to cross safely to the rock beach because the river was too deep and too cold to run through, especially with little kids legs. He got right to work pulling old trees out of the river and chopping down dead trees for our bridge and fire wood. In the end we had a bridge and it did the job perfectly!
