Summer Vacay - Day 23: S'more Cones

S'mores are always a camping favorite but for me it always seemed to take way more effort then it was worth. It takes time to roast that perfect marshmellow, melt the chocolate somehow and then place then get it in the mouth without burning the tongue. I saw these S'more Cones on pinterest and thought it was something I had to try. Ryan (with some help from gasoline) started a roaring fire so we could get some good hot coals to cook with. We then broke apart big marshmellows and layered them with milk chocolate chocolate chips into a sugar cone. We then wrapped them in foil and placed them in the coals of our fire and waited for them to melt. After waiting semi patiently for a few minutes we unwrapped the cones and the kids dove in! YUMMMMM. Something we will most definitely do again.
